Details:
-Gravitronix is an action/battle game for 1-4 players (possibly 8). -The game takes place in a single-screen arena. -The objects seen in the logo are the projectiles used as weapons. -These projectiles will have different physics, making them behave differently depending on how you use them. -There will be a great deal of depth in the control scheme. -Veteran players will master maneuvers which make rookie players cry "HAX!!!" -These details are intentionally vague, but we will have screenshots and movies closer to release which will explain everything.

One question, are you allowed to talk about your work or does Nintendo wants you to stay quiet about it till its finally released on the WiiWare channel?
Second, the press mentions that the game will have lots of depth. How exactly do you program a puzzle game in which anything may happen and especially one that is ambitious as this one? (NOTE: Not being sarcastic, just wondering how a puzzle game is programmed)

We can talk about our ideas all we want, but we're being secretive because A) we don't want to promise features which we wind up not delivering on and B) we don't want the idea stolen.
As for programming it, you'd need to ask Bin about that one, but Gravitronix in particular will be relatively easy to program. |

I'm just wondering how do you program a puzzle game because one small move can change the entire thing (like one move could initiate an endless string of combos and such).

The only thing I can say for certain is that this game will involve some interesting 2D physics.

That's OK, I'm willing to wait for the first screens, gameplay footage and such. I was just wondering how quiet Nintendo wants their developers to be since, like I said, Wiiware will rival XBOX Live Arcade, perhaps on a grander scale if done right.
