E3 2012 (3DS software showcase)
#31
I agree it was pretty undewhelming.
New Super Mario Bros U looks like alot of fun and so does ZombiU but that was all that caught my attention.
Someone needs to tell Nintendo that yes they sold 43 million WiiFits but only about 10 are still being used. Give it up Nintendo no one wants to use it.

Batman, Ninja Gaiden, Mass Effect 3, and Trine are all games I've already played and I don't see any reason why I would want to play them again when I already own them.

and to me Mass Effect 3 was the biggest insult, seriously EA you are giving us the last chapter of a trilogy. It's like watching Return of the Jedi or Return of the King without seeing the others. As someone on Joystiq said "Miss two games. No decisions imported, no attachment to the universe, no problem with the ending. Ingenious." The least EA could have done was combined Mass Effect 2 into it so at least Wii-u owners would have the same experience as PS3 owners.

Platinum game is here. Directed by Hideki Kamiya.

So Retro is MIA. SSB is too but that's to be expected. I thought they would tease a 3D Mario but I guess not. They're definitely sitting on stuff, but at least we get the 3DS showcase tomorrow.

I was talking with Bin at work and we had a thought, If Nintendo had really wanted to push home that they are now for the hardcore games again and wanted to hit it a out of the park at E3 they should have gotten Activation to show off Call of Duty Black Ops II for Wii-u, we know its coming since they have released the other games on the Wii. The punch that would have had, even thou it was already shown off would have really made up for Sing and all the WiiFit crap.

I've wanted ZombiU long before there was ever a ZombiU. And I fucking saw an Arwing in Nintendo Land.
Everyone's reaction at work at Nintendo Land: =|

My reaction after the Arwing: =D

Smile? Or Boner? You decide.

Also this was a pretty accurate synopsis of E3.

Nothing big from Nintendo but still managed to come out on top due to how terrible the other conferences were.

I heard that Microsoft has exclusivity to CoD stage demos through 2013, which would explain why all they showed was a logo of the Vita game at Sony's conference. Looks like Nintendo wasn't playing the logo game, though I am a little surprised that they had WB there and didn't mention Injustice at all. At least that game isn't a port.

Also, Nintendoland just got better when they showed the F-Zero portion.

Not impressed with Nintendo's 3DS showcase. I know more games are coming, but damn I would not have been sold on a 3DS from what they showed.

New Super Mario Bros 2 is not doing much for me, Let alone impressing me enough to buy 2 copies, Personally I'm looking more forward to New Super Mario Bros U.

And WHERE THE F#$* IS ANIMAL CROSSING???

I was expecting Nintendo to show off a nice long list of upcoming games for the 3DS, instead we have a list smaller then that from last year, and everything they showed they mentioned at the perivious event, no surprizes. >_<x
