Whatcha Been Playing?
Confirmed: Bastion is worth its GameRankings score.
It's great fun customizing your weapons and attacks, the gameplay is mostly solid aside from a few things here and there, such as instant unavoidable death if for SOME reason you equip the perk that makes any countered attack deal 100% damage and that attack gets thrown back at you for some unknown reason or the way the game often makes wild assumptions about which direction you want to aim your shield.

I love the God system that allows you up the game's difficulty in a dozen different entirely optional ways, rewarding you with more money and XP. It's the perfect way to make a game as hard as you want it to be from the get-go. Not that the game's that easy even without the gods, mind you.
Haven't been playing much of anything lately. Was going to get Bastion but I need a new TV first. My XBox is going to collect dust until I get one.

- Bloodline Champions (PC)
- Dungeons of Dredmor (PC)

- Dead or Alive: Dimensions (3DS) I'm really liking the story mode in this game, it's finally going through and connecting all the games. Only things I'm disappointed in is, 1. They use a mix of animated characters and still for the cut scenes, I wish they picked one. and 2. They took out Aerosmith's 'Dream On' from the flash back video.

- The Legend of Zelda OoT (3DS) - Loving the updated version. Still an amazing game after all these years.

- Call of Duty: Black Ops (360) - Haven't played much story mode, but Zombie mode is sooooo much fun, specially the presidential mode.

- Kinect Fruit Ninja (360) - Alot of fun, they did a good job moving the game from the small screen to the big screen.

- You Don't Know Jack (360) - Still having a bast playing this Smile

I was going to start a new character in WoW since it is free to play for the first 20 levels now. I have a ton of free time on my hands (working from home now) and I just wanted to see how the game has changed since I left ages ago. Sadly, I couldn't since I was affected by an unfortunate Battle.Net scam that had someone sign up with a billion email addresses (including mine) and Blizzard seems to be the first company in history to not include a "I didn't sign up for <blank>" link in their verification email AND it doesn't seem like the verification email will ever expire. Also lame: the guy signed up with all the email addresses using the same name and information, why Blizzard doesn't just cancel all these accounts for being fraudulent I don't know. As it stands this guy gets to squat on my account until I call customer service, and I really hate doing that. Disappointed, I went looking elsewhere for my MMO fix.

Eden Eternal (PC): surprisingly solid for a free game, if not a little generic. I've been playing a lot. Add "Colonius" on Emerald if any of you guys check the game out.

Dragon Nest (PC): Looks great but I need to upgrade my PC a bit before I get serious about it.

Team Fortress 2 - Playing this always makes me wish Monday Night Combat ran this well. Of course TF2 has its own problems...the game refused to track my Engineer stats.

Castlevania Chronicles - I forgot how brutal Classicvania can be, but the remixed music is worth the pain.
NFS ProStreet (360) - Went threw and finished a bunch of things I left half done. Just another game on my check list of games to finish. Kind of pissed off with the number of Online achievements I'll never get since NO ONE plays this game Online anymore.
Call of Duty: Black Ops (360) - Just picked up the newest Zombie map pack. Big Grin
Pinball FX2 (360) - fun game to kill a bit of time with.
Ghostbusters: SoS (360) - Got this game AWHILE ago and I just now got around to playing it. It's not as bad as a lot of people made it out to be. Wish I knew more people who had this game so I could get 4 Player co-op going.
Captain America (360) - Did anyone expect me NOT to play this. :p Game only took me 8 hours to finish along with all but two of the challengers left to do.

Dead or Alive: Dimensions (3DS) - This is turning out to be the main game I keep in my system since I can pick it up and play a quick match in less then 5mins.
Super Mario Bros., Ice Climber, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Wrecking Crew, Yoshi (3DS) - Been playing alot of the free NES games I got from the 3DS Ambassadors program.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (GBA) - Just picked up a GBA:SP and had to fire up A Link to the Past again Big Grin I really hope this game shows up as one of the free games for 3DS Ambassadors.

Going to start playing Zelda TP cause I need to play it before SS shows up, also started Xenoblade, but haven't got much time to play it. Lots and lots of Pokemon white, but yesterday my son erased the data by mistake :'( so have to start it all over again.
Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) - I'm only a couple hours into it and I can already say its a Awesome Game. Still can't beleave Nintendo isn't bring this game over. The game feels like a mix of Radiata Stories and Xenosaga (Yes I know it was made by the same company that did Xenosaga).

Dead Island (360) - It's like they crossed Dead Rising with Fallout 3. Great game so far and I hope it holds my attention to the end. Really wish I knew 3 other people who owned the game so I could play the 4 play co-op. So far the only downside I have is that there is no 2 player split screen mode.

Actually using my Gold account and playing some more Blazblue online. Starting to think Ranked is better than Player matches; less assholes and better matched with my actual skill. Only drag is waiting between every match.

Going to go through a four player walkthrough of Dead Island starting next Wednesday. Pretty hyped. One of our players tested the game XD

Finally got around to buy Amnesia: The Dark Descent. For an independent game, it sure is contending with the big boys. They've done an incredible job setting up atmosphere and getting you on edge at all times. Lots of fun original concepts in there, I recommend it to any horror fan who's looking for a horror game that doesn't need cheap frights to scare.

Been challenged at Tetris Attack at work, and, although I won, the guy is definitely an interesting contender. You don't see skilled Tetris Attack players everyday.
Castlevania Chronicles - Beaten! Final level and Dracula felt easy in comparison to the rest of the game.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Well, beat one PS1 CV, might as well play the other, right?
