Kirby's Insane Journey to Learn How to Wall Jump!
Posted by: ClaudeLv250 - 10-07-2012, 07:23 PM - Forum: Claude's House of Pain! - Replies (2)

I've delayed reposting the early stories in KIJ, but interested parties wanted to read it so...here we go!

WARNING: This is the first thing I ever wrote, and it certainly reflects that. This is not indicative of my writing abilities today. I hold on to this because I don't like to forget how much I've improved, and also because some of the stuff in here is still canon to the newer stories. One day I will remake this into something I can read without cringing. That goes for KIJ2 and 3 as well.

Yet another revival from old meda. Basically posting weird and interesting things I come across on the internet. Might make a real world alternative too.

Today's encounter: Deleted articles with freaky titles on wikipedia. Yes, someone is keeping track.

Couple of highlights...

Quote:Why Won't My Parakeet Eat My Diarrhea

Quote:Video Games in the 1800s

Quote:That one girl Charlie Brown likes with the red hair who they called Heather in the cartoons where the adults sound like Wee Wah Waw Wah

Shockingly detailed.

Quote:Players of 3D Space Cadet Pinball Who Can't Get It Up To Satisfy Their Wives

Confession page?

Quote:Nude Hippo

As opposed to clothed hippos?

Quote:Homosexual necrophilia in the mallard duck

....this is a thing?

  Super Smash Bros. 3D / U
Posted by: ClaudeLv250 - 06-24-2012, 01:51 AM - Forum: The Arcade - Replies (6)

It's a thing. It's coming. We've known for awhile so it's time to stop pretending. SSB originally brought the community together, so it's only appropriate that a thread is made for the new set of games.

This is everything known so far about the next Smash Bros:

  • Development has JUST started
  • There are two games, one for 3DS and one for Wii U
  • Both are SEPARATE games with unique content and not the same game on two platforms
  • There will be some kind of connectivity feature between the two
  • Masahiro Sakurai is in charge again
  • Namco Bandai is a co-developer with Project Sora

We probably won't hear any news for awhile, so I guess from this point we can speculate or make a wishlist.

Our company's involved in some kinda thing. We need a certain amount of votes to be eligible for a drawing that awards grants to small businesses. You don't need to sign up for anything, you can just use your facebook account to vote. Please check it out if you have a minute.

Must say I'm really impress with how many video game characters Disney was able to get for this movie.
Looks like its going to be pretty cool.

Just stopping by for a bit of nostalgia. I kinda gave up message boards awhile back, it's hard to find time to post any more. Curious how everyone is doing though.

Who all is still coming here?

It wasn't doing this 20 minutes ago, but every time I load a page on the forum, I get a prompt to download xd_arbiter.php from static.ak.facebook.com
On the bright side, the homepage isn't setting off my virus alert anymore.

Less than a month to go for the next E3, time to kick this thread off. Most importantly, dates and times of conferences (Pacific/Eastern):

June 4th
Microsoft - 9:30AM/12:30PM
EA - 1PM/4PM
Ubisoft - 3PM/6PM
Sony - 6PM/9PM

June 5th
Nintendo - 9AM/12PM

Where to Stream

Spike TV will be doing exclusive 360 coverage (again), G4 will be covering everything after that starting around the EA conference.

Super Sony Smash Bros AKA 'PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale' Announced

Quote:Sony Confirms New PS3 Fighting Game, Complete With Stupid Name
Sony has just confirmed on GTTV the worst-kept secret of 2012; namely, that it will be releasing a first-party PS3 fighting game, and that it'll actually be called PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

In addition to first-party characters, the game will also feature mascots from third-party outfits as well.

It's due on the PS3 this holiday season.

If you were thinking it might not actually be a Smash Bros. rip-off...the first footage of the game looks a lot like Smash Bros.

Video Here:

Saying that this is a Smash Bros rip-off is an understatement...
